There is a particular kind of magic that happens when women gather around a table.

The candles are lit. The bread is still warm. Glasses are raised. Somewhere between the first sip and the last story, something inside you exhales. You remember what it feels like to be nourished. Not just at the plate, but in the parts of yourself that have been quietly running on empty.

This is that evening.

Join me for The First Harvest Table, an intimate, thoughtfully curated farm-to-table gathering celebrating the season of the first harvest.

For centuries, communities came together at this time of year to give thanks for the first grains gathered from the fields and to bake the season’s first loaves of bread. It was a moment to pause, to celebrate what had been nurtured into being, and to acknowledge that abundance rarely arrives all at once, it ripens slowly through patience, care and faithful tending.

We will honour that ancient rhythm in the most beautiful way I know how:

Around a table.
In good company.
With food prepared with care.

Because the harvest is not only in the fields.

The harvest is in you.

As the evening unfolds, we will turn toward our own lives and the quiet questions this season is always asking:

What seeds have you planted?

What is beginning to ripen?

What have you nurtured through effort, courage or patience that deserves to be celebrated?

What in your life are you finally ready to savour and call a harvest?

So much of a woman’s life is spent tending to others.  This is an evening to be tended in return.  Whether you are navigating retirement, an empty nest, caregiving, reinvention, widowhood, divorce or simply asking yourself “What comes next?”, this evening offers an opportunity to pause and recognize the harvest already unfolding in what I lovingly call ACT III.

Your evening at the table includes:

  • A seasonal catered meal prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients

  • Gluten-free options and accommodations for dietary restrictions, food sensitivities and allergies

  • A mocktail bar inspired by summer berries, fresh herbs, lavender and garden botanicals

  • A harvest-inspired dessert table

  • Guided conversation and seasonal reflection among women who understand this season of life

  • A freshly baked loaf of sourdough bread to carry home with you, a symbol of the first harvest and a reminder that you, too, deserve nourishment

  • Weather permitting, we will close the evening around an outdoor bonfire with stories, laughter and singalong songs beneath the summer sky

Imagine candlelight flickering across the table, baskets of warm bread being passed hand-to-hand and conversations that linger long after dessert has been served.

These are often the evenings we remember for years. You spend so much of your life creating nourishing spaces for others.  This evening was created to do the same for you.

Thank you for organizing such a lovely evening and gathering such wonderful women together. It was a beautiful night and great company. Three days later, the peony from my place setting still looks beautiful and fills my home with its fragrance.

The meals are memorable.

The conversations are meaningful.

But what women most often remember is how they felt around the table.

This evening is for you if...

  • You are longing to live more cyclically and seasonally rather than constantly

  • You are tired of pouring out and are ready to be poured into

  • You crave meaningful conversations and genuine connection

  • You miss gathering around a table without needing to host, cook or clean up afterward

  • You are ready to celebrate your own harvest, however big or small it may seem

A note on space

This gathering is intentionally small. I keep it that way on purpose so the evening remains warm, personal and unhurried and so that every woman at the table feels truly seen.

Attendance is limited to 12 women. When the seats are gone, they are gone.

If something in you is leaning toward yes, I would gently encourage you to reserve your place now.
